Everything about this good budget hotel was perfect. The staff was amicable, helpful all the time. The accommodation had a very central location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. I had quick bite at Frisco Popcorn Factory, it was nearby. Stayed for 3 days and did not want to leave, I would have stayed for longer.

The rooms were comfortable with balcony with soft beds. Had great and brilliant location right in the gothic quarter close to museums etc etc, near El Call. Had a really comfortable stay during the weekend & would return anytime...

Besides, the location was marvellous for our stay, within 5 minutes' walk of Gothic Quarter Centre. And the area was great, right by the old town, and the main attractions of the city.

I recently stayed at Annex - Rey Don Jaime I for a weekend getaway in the Gothic District. The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to metro stations, popular sights such as Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla, as well as the beach. The staff was efficient and the room was clean, with a modern bathroom and good wifi. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the central location. I would definitely stay here again.
Would recommend this hotel.
